I remember being little and in every party bag I got from the birthday parties I went to, there were always those little tiny kaleidoscopes. I used to collect them! There was something about the colors and shapes when you looked into them that fascinated me. I still get excited when I see them in the stores. But what I have never had, was a real kaleidoscope. Real? What do I mean by real? Well, I mean one that will last, that looks exceptionally beautiful, and one that really makes you feel as though it is special. Until now that is! I recently had the opportunity to check out a kaleidoscope from Kaleidoscopes To You and I am so thrilled about it!
As you can tell, Kaleidoscopes To You obviously knows their stuff! They offer so many different types of Kaleidoscopes that it is truly amazing! There is no need to look elsewhere. You would think as soon as you get to their main page that everything would be so expensive because the immediate beauty is noticeable, but that is not the case. There is really something for everyone in all different styles.
Kaleidoscopes To You was kind enough to send me the 5.5 Inch long Laminated Solid Woods with Padauk and other Hardwoods Teleidoscope by N & J! I have to say, the picture does not do it justice! It is amazing in person. So beautiful and just the right size! It measures 5 3/4 inches long and has leads into the ball lens eyepiece which is approximately 1 1/8
inches in diameter. There is also a display stand to display your masterpiece that has enough room to be engraved if you so desire. And, to complete the gift feel, it is packaged beautifully in a cloth pouch and placed in a box! All of the different woods really make this piece amazing. It just gives it so much character!
One of my children (will not mention which one) did get a hold of it and dropped it so there is a slight crack in the wood that you can see in the picture. I cried! Literally cried. I was so upset. However, you cannot notice the crack if you aren't looking for it. So make sure when you are purchasing your beautiful kaleidoscope that you do not let your children play with them unless you purchase the toy ones that are made for children. Or make sure they are extra careful. They are beautiful to look through and at, but they are also crafted to be beautiful and delicate. So take extra care of them. And I would like to say that this is no fault to the company at all! It is the complete fault of me for not keeping it up on a higher shelf! But now it is displayed in the beautiful curio cabinet that my mother-in-law just gave us and it looks amazing in there!
Overall, I am so impressed with Kaleidoscopes To You! I will definitely shop there in the future for myself and for gifts!
