Ever since we adopted out dog Jilly, she has been a horrible walker. She literally gets so excited to go for walks that she wants to drag you the whole way! When we received the Instant Trainer Leash, I was a little leery about it working since it just seemed like a regular old leash and I have tons of those! But I read the instructions and watched the video HERE and figured out how to use it properly and gave it a go! I was surprised at how, out of all the different types of leashes I had, not one of them was designed to be used like the Instant Leash Trainer. It made so much sense that it was kind of a smack head moment! The second I put it on Jilly, she started trying to get it off because she wasn't used to it but then when we started walking, it didn't bother her any more and I could definitely notice a difference. It kept her close to me and instead of putting all of the strain on her neck or nose/head  (like a few I have), it evenly dispersed the tension over her body. You could tell she felt more comfortable with the leash then the others we have. 

As soon as we got outside, I was waiting for her to start pulling and at first, she did try but then it was like an automatic release. She seemed to almost give up and relax. I was surprised that she wasn't dragging me down the street and I didn't have to run to keep up with her. She really looked like those other dogs that walk so well that I am always envious of! I was so excited and pleased that, for the first time ever, Jilly walked like a calm submissive dog and I didn't look silly being drug down the street! It was great!
