Riley goes to a child learning lab where the local high school seniors teach the little kids (age 3 and 4) for two hours three days a weekand they learn so much that it is mind boggling! It almost makes me feel like a bad mom because I didn't teach him half of this stuff! I guess his learning capacity is higher then what I had ever imagined.
Well, he came home last week and was saying something that sounded like "pledge" and I asked if he knew the Pledge of Allegiance. And he said yea. Well by the end of this week he has it down! Here is his rendition! And this is no lie! I made him repeat it over and over so I could type it all down! LOL
Riley's pledge of allegiance:
I pledge needgance
To the flag
States to merica
And to the public
To which it stands
One nation
To the god
And miserable me
with siberty
Just for and nall
Ahhh! Love this kid! I'm going to see if I can get it on video and post it here! He is too funny for such a little person!

OMG Just reading it made me laugh out loud! I gotta see this on video!!
My nephew who is four attends a child development class thingie too where he works with high school kids at my local school. They make projects and stuff. We're trying to get him to sing along with the other kids but he wants NO part of it! -laughs-
They have SUCH personality at that age.
That is so cute!!! Love it. It does amaze me what they learn at school at such a bad age. Yep, makes me feel like a bad mom too. I want to see the video of that!!
