I think it's very apparent that I love cupcakes! They are all over my blog and have been since I started it! Recently, I received the cutest summer cupcake package from Simon & Schuster Children’s Books that included Who's My Cupcake little board book, Cupcake Diaries middle school books and a Cupcake Diaries-branded apron! Everything was so adorable and I couldn't get over the cuteness!
The Who's My Cupcake board book by award-winning author Elissa Guest and illustrator Marina Fedotova was so adorable! Riley and Emma make us read it all the time and they even read it to each other by making up stories! It's just a really cute book and I was excited to add it to the kids library.
As for the Cupcake Diaries (check out this link for downloadable activities, a book trailer, and extras for middle-grade readers), well, I know that they are middle school books, but I actually got a little caught
up in reading them myself. It kind of took me back to being young which is always fun! I would have loved to have these books in my middle school days. The Cupcake Diaries is a collection of books that revolves around the normal middle school life of most girls. "Katie Brown is miserable when her best friend is invited to join the Popular Girls Club, and Katie is left out. Is there an Unpopular Girls Club she can join? Luckily, Katie finds her way with a great new group of friends—Mia, Emma, and Alexis—and together they form the Cupcake Club. Sometimes starting from scratch turns out to be the icing on the cupcake." So you can see how the connection would touch many middle school aged girls and definitely gives them ways to deal with similar situations.

It really matched the cuteness (I can't
stop saying it because it defines this package!) of the books. I have been using it a lot for cooking and it has become permanent in my kitchen and I'm sure Emma will love to use it when she starts helping me in the kitchen!Disclosure: I received the product above in exchange for an honest review, compliments of the company or PR firm.
