Week 21 On Nutrisystem! Inches Count Too! #NSNation

Week 21 on Nutrisystem! So for the past couple of weeks, I started to get a little frustrated with my weight progress so I decided that I am not stepping on the scale until next week. Instead, I was reminded to check my measurements because they can change without my weight changing. The last time I measured myself was a couple of month ago and since then, I have lost a total of 14 inches total! That is huge! I am so excited! I am pretty sure it gave me the motivation I need! I feel a lot better about myself and it boosted my self esteem extremely!

Penne Pasta & Chicken in Alfredo Sauce (Made With Breast Meat)
I realized that my lack of weight loss and my falling off of the healthy wagon slowed a lot once Kyle finished this last job he was on. He's been home for the past month waiting for his new job to start up (he does contract work) and I have had the hardest time sticking to the program. The funny thing is, I hadn't even really realized it. We are always out a lot now that he is off taking day trips and sometimes we expect to be home by dinner time and then we aren't and I didn't pack a Nutrisystem dinner, so I think I am going to have to start leaving some in the car. I always try to pick the healthiest thing off of the menu if we don't make it home but I know those "healthy" fast food items are still loaded with calories. So I know that I need to just be more prepared. I think I maybe was in denial for a little while, and I'm hoping that admitting what my problem is, I can fix it. It's never too late to move forward and pick yourself back up. Like I always say, I'm just happy I'm not giving up!

It's actually felt pretty good not weighing in. I am a compulsive weigher usually and weigh every day and I think that is kind of discouraging. So I think I have to lock up my scale throughout the week until weigh in day! ;)

I found a new dinner that I love! The Penne Pasta & Chicken in Alfredo Sauce is so yummy! I wish I had ordered more! It satisfies my eating out craving because when I go that is one of my favorites to order but I rarely do because of all of the fat and calories in it, so the Nutrisystem version allows me to eat it and not feel guilty! I get really excited finding new meals I love because it just keeps me remembering how great it is to have a plan with delicious food! And I actually was missing a couple meals and when I confronted him, Kyle actually said that he tried them and loved them! And that says a lot because Kyle is very picky!

So obviously no weight this week but lots of inches! :)

Keep it up! I only let myself weigh in on Tuesday morning. Once a week is all I can handle! Seeing all the little ups and downs is too frustrating.
