Hair products are a necessity for me since I have curly hair. My children have also been lucky enough to receive mine and Kyle's curly hair genes and sometimes their hair gets uncontrollable. For Emma's I usually let it go all wild and throw a couple of hair clips in the front to make it look cute. Riley's, on the other hand, is a mess when it gets longer. Since he hates hair cuts, I try to go as long as I can between cuts. The curl really doesn't come out as much since his hair is short, but it is still coarse and when it get's longer then his close buzz cut, it doesn't really form well to his head and sticks out all over the place. I used to try some products I use on my hair, but they never worked. Luckily I got to try out Monkey Brains kid and tweens hair products and they have worked fabulously for us!Monkey Brains is a new collection of hair care that allows kids be fun and cool! Cool hair is all the rave now and kids like to make themselves individuals by styling their hair crazy. Plus younger kids just want to be like the older kids and young celebrities. Monkey Brains hair products give kids (and young at heart adults) the appropriate tools to look cool and have fun doing it. Monkey Brains line includes 2 Gels, 2 Glues, 1 Pomade, a Hair Refresher and a Shampoo and Conditioner!
We got to try out the Monkey Brains Crazy Sticky Hair Gel, Gone Bananas Hair Refresher, and Goop Out Shampoo! Riley absolutely loved these because they were fun! Something as simple as funny monkeys on a bottle can absolutely make products cooler. Then he realized that they were just like mommy's hair products, but for him and that made them amazing! I let him try out the Crazy Sticky Hair Gel as soon as we got them and we have been using it ever since. I loved that that the gel actually holds his hair for more then two minutes. I use it almost every day since it controls the stick out hairs that I can't seem to get rid of on him. Plus I like to give him a fauxhawk too since he thinks it looks cool. While I love the gel, I think my favorite is the hair refresher! It's waterless shampoo for those in between days. This is perfect for summer since their hair always smells funny after a day of playing since they sweat even in the house. It's super easy to use. Put it in, rub it all around, then rub their head with a towel. It's as simple as that and then they have fresh smelling hair! I really love it and am so happy that our Rite Aid carries it so I am never out of it! The Goop Out Shampoo is great as well! It works really well at cleaning their hair (and mine! I love it!) and it smells so yummy after they get out of the bath.
