When we moved, we went from having nice plush carpet to hardwood floors. This has been quite an adjustment for Jilly! While we put down a comfy mat and she normally lays on the couch a lot, I know sometimes she just wants another option. When she was in the shelter before we adopted her, she used to sometimes have this doggy cot and she seemed to love it! I always swore I would get her one but then, as you know, you kind of let things get away from you. Fortunately, we had the awesome opportunity to test out the Kakadu Pet Cot & All Seasons Mat for Jilly!

The Kakadu Pet Cot helps keep pets elevated off of the floor while offering air flow from underneath! It will keep your pets warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. It is so easy to assemble and you don't need tools. This makes it great for transporting and traveling since you can take it apart and simply place it in its travel bag. The cover comes in modern colors and is removable and washable which is super convenient if it is used outdoors or if your pooch has an accident (it is waterproof as well so it won't leak through)! No worries if you have a super small furbaby or a super large furbaby! The pet cot is available in 4 sizes to suit small to large breeds! Also the cot is great for older pets and pets with orthopedic needs since it keeps them off of the hard surface. 

Along with the pet cot, you can purchase the All Seasons Mat! This mat is great for giving the cot a little padding or as a standalone mat. It is double sided with one side that keeps cool for the summer since it is nylon and fleece on the other for warmth in the winter! It would fit great in a crate if you crate your pup as well. If you are using it with the cot, it has hidden ties which snap fast around the legs of the pet cot. It is also machine washable or you can just hose it down and lay flat to dry!

I put the cot together as soon as it was delivered! It was really easy to set up and took me about 5 minutes total. Poor Jilly kept trying to get on it when it was set up, but the kids wouldn't get off of it! It was so funny because they all loved it! Riley and Emma laid on it for a while watching tv but Jilly didn't feel like waiting anymore so she just hopped right on there with them! When they finally got off of it to go play, Jilly sprawled out and soaked up the sunlight on her new found lounge! She has never looked happier! We got it about a week and a half ago and she has been using it all day everyday! She absolutely loves it! I am contemplating buying a second one for upstairs in our room so we can have our bed back! I could just carry it upstairs since it's lite enough but I secretly love it so much that I want another! 

The mat has stayed with the fleece side up but I can't wait until it gets a little warmer so she can enjoy the nylon side as well. I haven't tried to wash either of them yet, but I don't think it will be too hard. They will both fit in the washer at the same time and the mat is flexible enough that I won't have to drive to the laundry mat for a larger washer. Overall, I can't find any flaws with either of the items! They are amazing and I really think every pet should have one. And if you don't have a pet to buy one for, you could always purchase one for a shelter animal!
