Can You Help Save 2nd Base? *US Giveaway*

I always love posting about great causes and I found one that I think every women should be aware of. Save 2nd Base was created to support the fight against Breast Cancer in a fun way! Kelly Rooney was a loving wife and mother of five young children. Erin Dugery and Kelly Day, sister and friend, of Kelly and co-founders of Save 2nd Base, lost Kelly on July 11, 2006 at the age of 43. Kelly fought breast cancer for three years before passing on. She was funny and had a quick wit, loud laugh, and endearing wink. Save 2nd Base has created apparel to live on her humorous ways and they do just that!

"Trish" - Green Camouflage Fitted TSave 2nd Base offers humorous breast cancer apparel that will give anyone a laugh and for the people that see you wearing these items....well...it might take them a second to figure out what is going on! You will find shirts that say "Take Care Of Your Rack" with antlers over the chest and "Save 2nd Base" with baseballs over the chest. There is really something for everyone! Save 2nd Base’s goal is to provide exposure for the mission of The Kelly Rooney Foundation! Each shirt not only spreads the word about the foundation, but also helps Save 2nd Base donate a portion of the funds to KRF and other Breast Cancer non-profits!You can help just by purchasing your shirt and spreading the word!
I receive 3 "Save 2nd Base" Pink Baseball fitted tees and I kept one and gave the other two to my mom and my sister! They were so cute and funny and I couldn't wait to wear mine! The were so soft and fit amazingly! They are definitely quality material. Besides they great product, I was excited that I could help spread the word, not just about the foundation, but about breast cancer in general. There are so many women who forget about how important it is to do self breast examines and get mammograms and hopefully one (or more) women will see me with my funny shirt and think about it and get "the girls" checked! It definitely is a conversation starter since at first all you see is two baseballs on the boobs! I guess I can't get mad at anyone for staring at my chest when I have it on! I think it is so great to be able to have a situation that you can laugh about so why not get one for yourself! You know you want a "baseball boobie" shirt as Riley calls it! And three of you will have a chance to win your very own!

My mom and I always were able to joke through the tough times and keep each others spirits up. She died last May of breast cancer and I think of things every day that would make her laugh. I love these shirts.

My MIL is battling breast cancer right now and is such a trooper. She jokes that my 2 year old daughter that's just now getting hair has more hair than she does. She's definitely a trooper and the way she's held up through everything, you'd never know all she's been through.

My mom found out she had breast cancer in 2002 at the ripe age of 32.. she has always been able to laugh about her experience.. her favorite story is of my 4 year old sister (when my mom was telling her about the upcoming surgery) that it's okay if they cut off her boobies--they're too long anyway! She has been in remission for 8 1/2 years--and we are thankful everyday to have her in our life!!

When I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer my family rallied around me and made me smile. My kids took it in stride and never seemed bothered by my lack of hair. My husband made it his mission to make me smile and laugh every day! I credit my NED status to their never ending love and support!

My grandmother was my best friend when I was a kid and unfortunately passed away about 15 years ago, although she was a breast cancer survivor (she passed away from something else). And when she was around, there was no worry in the world!
