Mommy Thinks: I immediately tried Episencial Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35 as soon as I received it on myself. This is the true test because I HATE greasy products! I was so happy that the sunscreen seemed to sink right in. There was no greasy oily feel after applying the sunscreen to my arm.

Then, the other day, we went to Six Flags and I used Episencial Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35 on both Riley and Emma. I was kind of nervous to rely on this product on this very hot 90 degree weather day since I have never tried it before, but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Now, in the past I had used a product (won't mention any names) that was an SPF 55 and Riley had always still seemed to get some color after a long day out in the sun. Well, after a full day outside, with the use of Episencial Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35, my children are still nice and "un-tanned" which is awesome because I now know that it works better than my usual choice for sunscreen!

I did find that a little goes a long way when applying the sunscreen. It is very runny which makes applying super easy, especially with squirmy children. I suggest when applying to start with a little and add more as you go or else you'll wind up with a mess! Trust me! I know this from experience! I didn't have to reapply at all which was nice and trust me...we were sweating bad!

Also, both Emma and Riley have sensitive skin and they did not have a reaction at all.

From now on Episencial Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35 will be our relied on sunscreen!

Away For The Day!

We are heading out to the airport to send my brother in law back to Iraq and then we are heading to Washington, DC for a motorcycle event! This should be a super fun day trip (as long as the kids behave)! Sex and the City 2

I just went to see Sex and the City 2 with my mom the other day and LOVED IT! I have watched Sex and the City since season 3 religiously (I own the box set) and was so upset when it ended. I'm the type of person who lives vicariously through shows so I'm traumatized when they end!

I was so excited for Sex and the City 2 to come out and was not disappointed at all! It starred all of my favorite girls (and guys) along with other new stars (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Jason Lewis, Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, Alice Eve)! It was just as great as the first movie and left me wanting more when it ended. I am sure there will be a 3rd movie so now I am anxious for that one to come out! Sex and the City 2 is definitely a movie that I would watch again which is something I don't do much.

Mommy Thinks: I absolutely love both products! Review & Giveaway: Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant

Ever since I had Riley my hormones have been messed up and it just continued since I got pregnant with Emma 9 months after having Riley. Before having them I only wore deodorant for the nice smell, but never to cover anything up since I never had an odor problem. Well, I guess with my hormones out of whack, I have had some issues, so to say! LOL So, I have had to look around for different deodorants to make sure I am always smelling nice and staying dry! We all know how embarrassing stinky wet pits can be! :-P I recently was sent Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant to put to the test!

The Product: New Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant (for men & women): Certain Dri is the number one over-the-counter antiperspirant recommended by doctors for treating excessive perspiration. New to the Certain Dri line of antiperspirant products is Certain Dri Solid, equally effective and specially-formulated for those with sensitive skin. While other over-the-counter antiperspirants claim to be “clinical strength” and “waterproof” the Certain Dri formulations – 12% aluminum chloride and 25% aluminum sesquichlorohydrate - are the strongest available, providing 72-hours of protection with each application. Retail price is $5.50-$6, almost 40% less than the other clinical strength antiperspirant products.

Mommy Thinks: I have only come across one deodorant that has worked for the whole day without reapplication, so I wasn't expecting much from Certain Dri. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked! It didn't stand up to the 72hours, as I did notice that I needed to reapply more towards the end of the night, but with that being said, it did hold up through out the day which was nice. I'm still not sure if I like the scent. It is a mix between a men and women deodorant smell which I would imagine it is supposed to be since it is for men and woman. I tend to lean more towards flowery and powder scents. It did keep me dry though which I loved! I think I will be sticking to my regular deodorant but this is a nice alternative for someone looking to try something new!
