Mommy Thinks: Obviously I'm willing to try anything to make Jilly's breath better! Who doesn't love doggy kisses? We have been using Teddy's Pride for a little over 3 weeks now and I have noticed a slight change in her breath. It isn't drastic but for some animals it takes a little longer. But a little bit is good for me because that obviously means it's working! I have also noticed a change in the color of her teeth! I wish I took a before and after picture. I definitely think that this is a one of a kind product. I have tried numerous tooth pastes, treats, gum wipes and they all worked immediately but nothing was long term. With Teddy's Pride I feel like, even though the process is slower, in the end it is more of a solution as opposed to a temporary fix!

Jilly Thinks: At first Jilly was not having any of this strange white powder on her food! I started to get worried but then went back to the website and it had stated that, while there is no color, odor, or taste, there is still the visual aspect which can sometimes frighten the animal because they are not used to it. So I just make sure when I put Teddy's Pride on her food I shake it in a little bit so she doesn't notice it! I think that Jilly will be happy when she can finally give kisses without being rejected. I mean, come on now! What girl likes rejected!

Our story

There once was a little farming school

We started on a farm in Wilton, New Hampshire in 1983. We began as a farming school that taught sustainable agricultural practices. Our goals were to help family farms survive and to help protect the environment.

Mommy Thinks: At first I was thinking that the meals wouldn't taste that great because lets face it, everything mixed together sounds gross. Then we tried them and I was amazed at how great they tasted. It's kind of funny because I really never would have thought that I could stomach them because I knew what was in them. We tried all three of the flavors and my favorite was the Apple & Sweet Potato probably because it tasted more like regular yogurt and obviously sweet potato is sweet! We will definitely keep purchasing these because it is easy to hand him one and know that he is getting not only dairy but also fruits and veggies!

Riley Thinks: Of course Riley loved these! He is a sucker for yogurt and loves fruits and veggies so these were right up his ally. His favorite was actually the Pear & Green Beans. 

What We Would Like To See: We obviously want to see more flavors! I can't wait to see what new flavor combinations come out next!

Mommy Thinks: I love how cute the 2 ceramic plaques were! They were well crafted and inexpensive! I would definitely purchase them if I say them online or in the store because for only $5 a piece I think they complete any little girl's room! 

The outfit wasn't really my style because of the big tulip appliques but when I held it up to her (it's a 6-9 month so it is way to big for her right now) it actually looked cute! So she will definitely be sporting it this summer. We do own a couple of outfits from the Wishes & Kisses line that Emma received as a present and they are super cute on her and they are true to size which I like!

Emma Thinks: I'm sure when Emma is older she will appreciate the cuteness of her plaques!

What we would like to see more of: Maybe a shelf to match!

Lesson Learned

So the couple that was buying our house canceled the contract because the husband might be losing his job. It totally sucks. We were so excited to be moving into a home that fit our family better in an area that we love. I'm so bummed. I feel like I jinxed us because I started packing some small stuff around the house that we don't use that much and posted how we sold our house and found another house.

I really hope that we get another buyer soon or else we will lose the house we want...

Totally stinks!

Facebook-Fan-You-Back!

Woo Hoo! We have our closing date!

So we will be the proud new owners of a new home as of June 15th! We will be closing the same day as the people for our house so it will be kind of hectic trying to move our stuff out while they are moving their stuff in but I'm sure we'll figure it out. I'm so excited that it is all done and out of the way! Now the fun part starts...PACKING! Ughhh! Not looking forward to the unpacking and cleaning part! I would love to be able to get into the new house and clean and everything before moving in but we really don't have that option. So I'll be scrubbing everything down the night of our closing!

Hopefully this will go a lot smoother than I imagine it!

Boys have cooties!

We went to my cousins baby shower yesterday and I was excited for Riley to get to play with some kids his own age since he is mostly around adults. As soon as we walked him he was amazed at all of the little bite sized people (that's what I like to call kids! Hahaha) just like him! He sat with me for a little bit so I figured I would feed him while I had the chance because I knew once he got to playing there would be no chance of him sitting back down.

He eventually got down once the kids started racing each other across the dance floor part of the fire hall we were in. I'm, of course, a nervous wreck because I picture him getting knocked down and breaking his poor little head or something horrible! But I knew I had to just let him play. Well, as soon as he gets over by the kids (which were all girls! Not one boy besides him) they start telling him that he is gross and dirty and to get away because he wasn't allowed to play! Of course he has no clue what they are saying and keeps trying to be a part of their fun and they keep saying mean things to him! I seriously had to hold back tears! Yes, I'm a little over dramatic, but my poor baby just wanted to play with these little kids and they were being so mean! They were all of about 3-4 years old! I guess I just never imagined that little kids were raised to be mean little nasty creatures! I'm sure Riley will will one day be mean to another little kid but I really hope not!

Then, right before we left he was putting those curly ribbons that attach to balloons in this 10 year old girls hair and telling her she was pretty and she told him that if he didn't get away from him she was going to hurt him! So, yes, I stepped in and told the little girl that we didn't want to play with an "obnoxious, little mean brat anyway". LOL I know! How sad that I felt I had to say something to an 10 year old but come on! Who tells a baby that they are going to hurt him for telling her she is pretty! I admit it! I'm an over protective mom and I don't like to see my children hurt.But what mom does?

So, I figured I would post my very first "My kid got picked on and I cried" moment! LOL

Mommy Thinks: I love that there is an alternative to regular bandages. And these one are so cool! I especially love the 4boyz ones because they look badass! I also like how they aren't babyish. Ouchies has quite a few different styles so they can really fit everyone's personal style!

Riley Thinks: Riley got to try out the 4Boyz & Trucktown Ouchies! Obviously bandages are new to him so he immediately tried to pull it off but then I put one on and he kept his on because we matched! He loved both designs and wanted to take them all out but of course I couldn't let him!

What we would like to see more of: We would love to see some see through designs! That would be cool!

As you all may have noticed, Emma has no hair! Well, that's a lie! She does but other then a little on the top and her little mullet there isn't much! So, she tends to look like a boy! Which means that I always have to put headbands on her when we go out or I take pictures. I know its sounds mean but the headbands definitely make her look cuter and more like a little girl! So, I am always on a mission to find the cutest headbands since they are an everyday accessory for her and she has so many clothes so matching them can sometimes be hard. I had contacted Amy who owns FlowerzInHerHair.com and she was more than happy to send me some products to make Emma look more adorable!

Mommy Thinks: Not only are  FlowerzInHerHair.com headbands and flower clippies super adorable and inexpensive, they are also well made! They seem very durable which is important when they are constantly being used. I love how the super stretch headbands are made of a nylon stocking material. They don't leave marks on Emma's head and they don't get stretched out when Riley steals them and puts them on his head! The flower, the bow, and the corker are all super cute as well! The flower Emma wears almost every day and the corker matches her 4th of July outfit and the bow is cute and simple! I just placed an order for more headbands and clips because I love FlowerzInHerHair.com products so much! Oh and you can also get 5 headbands for only $16.25! (That's what I did and it saved me a decent amount!)

Emma Thinks: She looks super cute in them and they seem to be comfortable for her since she doesn't fuss when they are on and they don't leave marks like her other ones do.

What we would like to see:  I would love to see more embellished clippies! FlowerzInHerHair.com carry 2 different flower ones in so many colors and a skull one and I think they are adorable so I would definitely be interested in purchasing some more similar ones! Maybe cute little kitties or something like that!
