Healthy Families Happy Kids: The Baby Dipper Bowl Makes Feeding Time Easier and Fun! *US & Canada Giveaway*

Feeding time can get complicated with babies and toddlers. Babies tip and spill bowls and baby food jars by trying to reach for them and toddlers are in the stage of feeding themselves which is just messing in general. I am also looking for ways to make feeding time easier, not only for me, but for Riley and Emma as well! When I came across Baby Dipper Bowl I was excited to see all the awesome reviews about it. I knew that this was one that I would have to try!

The Baby Dipper Bowl was created by Barbara Schantz, mom of twin girls, Greta and Cora, born in 2004, and twin boys, Franklin and Carlton, born in 2008. She was having lots of problems trying to feed her babies with the normal bowls you find at the stores and with twins it was so much harder. She was looking for a bowl that would make feeding easier. She was looking for all the things moms usually look for in a bowl but can never find. She was looking for one-handed feeding, a bowl that doesn't slide around on the table, and an easier collection of of the baby food. She came up with a non-slip bottom surface would keep the bowl from

sliding. A sloped interior surface and a spoon-shaped collection point would help gather the food easier. Also, the bowl would be transparent to allow the food to be seen easily by both the parent and the child. The set is also BPA-free, lead-free, and phthalate-free! When the product was finished, it made feeding easier for parents and toddlers trying to spoon-feed themselves.

We got to test the Baby Dipper Bowl with both Riley and Emma! I found that it was so much more enjoyable to feed Emma when I had the right tools. I love the weight of the Baby Dipper. It is heavier than most bowls and this, along with the non-slip bottom surface, keeps the bowl from slipping and sliding and tipping. I also love the the bowl is sloped. I am so used to trying to get the last spoonful out of the jar or the bowl and eventually giving up because by that time Emma is fussing too much. Emma is also starting to self feed which can be very unorganized but the Baby Dipper bowl makes it a little easier. The spoon that comes along with it have a nice handle that is easier for little hands to hold and the bowl is nice and attractive so Emma is more inclined to keep going back for more.

Riley loves the Baby Dipper! He is really big on colors right now so he loves the bright dark blue and yellow. The utensils are different than any of the other ones he has. The spoon is great because it had a round shape which keeps food on it better. I think he is a little too old for the fork. The fork is also rounded which makes it harder for him to pick up food so we have put that away for Emma. The utensils are great for the fact that they fit the bowl so they don't fall into the bowl creating more of a mess! I love that we can put soup and other liquid foods in the bowl and because of the weight, it won't slide around on him! We have used many of those bowls that suction to the surface it is on and only found one that works for us but Riley is always trying to pull it off because he realizes that it is different. Obviously kids are more inclined to play with something that is different. The Baby Dipper Bowl looks similar to a regular bowl, just different in shape, so it doesn't seem foreign to him so he doesn't play with it! 

I recommend the Baby Dipper Bowl to any parent trying to find an easier feeding solution for their little ones. I don't think you will be disappointed at all!
