SoftBums Offers A Drawstring One Size Hybrid Cloth Diaper! *US Giveaway*

I've recently had the chance to try out some decent diapers. I have some that are favorites and some that I like and use if my favorites are dirty. I just got to try out another one that has been added to my favorites pile for Emma! Sarah, the owner of Softbums, was generous enough to send us a Softbums Echo Diapering System to try out!

I of course picked the PowderPuff print! It is so girly and I knew that I needed to have one! Our package came with an Echo shell, DryTouch Pod, Organic Bamboo Pod and DryTouch Mini Pod. The Echo shell contains the SoftBums Patent Pending Slide²Size (drawstring size adjuster). It will adjust to fit 6lbs to 35lbs without the bulk of normal one size diapers since there is no extra fabric to snap down. The greatest thing about the shell is that it is reusable! You can purchase additional Pods so you don't have to change the diaper as much. Less wash, less waste! 

I love that there are no pockets to stuff! All you do is snap the pod into the shell and you're ready to go! It is super easy for Kyle to set up in case he tries to help put my diapers together when they are clean (which I try to avoid at all costs! LOL). The DryTouch Pod contains 2 layers of absorbent microfiber and topped with super soft microfleece. These are great for heavy wetters or used during nights with the DryTouch Mini Pod for maximum absorbency! The DryTouch Mini Pod contains 3 layers of absorbent microfiber terry with a super soft layer of microfleece! You can also use the Mini Pods alone for newborns so for a super trim fit! The Organic Bamboo Pods are made of 70% Organic Bamboo and 30% Organic Cotton and are very trim while staying absorbent! You can also purchase the Super DryTouch Pod which contains an additional layer of absorbency so you can go without the Mini Pod and not sacrifice absorbency.  

I think the Organic Bamboo Pod is my favorite! It is so soft and I love knowing that is touch Emma's bottom instead of some scratchy plastic! I only use the Mini Pod if I am using the diaper overnight and I haven't had any leaks at all with SoftBums! Unfortunately the Echo Diaper was a little too snug for Riley but he IS 36lbs so he is over the 35lb expectation. It is hard to find a diaper that fits him since he still has the chunky legs. I love the fit on Emma though! There have never been red marks left on her and the diaper overall is so soft! 


I think that the SoftBums Echo Diapering system is so easy to use and is top of the line when it comes to diapers. The only problem that I have found is not necessarily with the diaper, but with Kyle! The Pods are made to fit the width of the diaper but you have to make sure that it is tucked inside of the shell and he has a habit of not checking so there were a couple of blowouts thanks to him. So ladies...if your men are changing the diapers and are only used to pockets, make sure you tell them to double check!
