Clean Up the Wires with a Powermat! *US Giveaway*

I am one of those people that constantly is charging something. Wires are everywhere and it looks like an electrics store set up shop in my house! From our cell phones to our MP3 players (Kyles iPod), one device or another is either charging or the chargers are sitting out. Now, I try to be an organized person, but with two kids and being a stay at home mom, one can only be so organized. You have to charge your electronics if you want them to work, right? So, obviously you need all of those charges, right? WRONG! The lovely people over at Powermat sent me a couple of really high tech items to help me get my electronics in check! 

Now, I had seen the Powermat in Target and thought it sounded like the coolest thing. One product that could charge almost all your small electronics! Plus the packaging was super cool! Yes...I said it....cool packaging! I am a skeptic though, so I definitely wanted to try it before buying it. I used to be all techie like and know about every electronic that came out but overtime I gained children and lost my ability to keep up with the latest technology.

Powermat generously sent me the home & office mat, the portable mat, two universal receivers and an ipod receiver! How awesome are they!?! As soon as my package arrived, I couldn't resist and set it all up (which took no time at all). Set up is super easy. It really was as simple as plugging it in and hooking up your device! Each Powermat comes with 8 interchangeable adapters and 1 universal receiver. I love the portable Powermat because it folds up and comes with a cute little carrying case! I was fascinated by the multi-charging that was happening in front of me! I had also found that the Powermat charged everything a lot faster than our regulars chargers. I am always worried about over charging so I really like that the Powermat automatically stops charging the device when it is full of battery life.

We have been using the Powermat for a couple months now and have found it so much easier than all of our chargers. I use the office mat on my side of the bed and Kyle used the portable mat on his side. I charge my phone, Riley's video monitor, and my MP3 player and Kyle charges his phone and his IPod. It's nice not to have to fight over who gets to charge what. It's also really nice to have only one wire. Riley was notorious for pulling all of the wires out and now I have the Powermat wire hidden so he doesn't even bother with it. I really love how much it has simplified a part of our life. It is surprising how much such a little thing can help out! 

I definitely recommend picking a Powermat up as well as an extra Powercube! The Powercube comes with 8 different adapters so that you don't have to worry about losing a charger and you don't have to worry about going through a bunch of random chargers in your house looking for one that works (I know you know what I'm talking about)! The greatest part to me is that once you connect your device, you will hear an audible chime to let you know that it is hooked up. My phone charger always has to be placed a certain way to charge correctly so this is a big help! Also if you have a Blackberry, IPod Touch or IPhone, or a nintendo DS, you can get a receiver that actually installs right onto the product so all you have to do is drop it right on the charger and walk away! Super easy!
