ZeroWater Creates Safe, Drinkable Water In Your Home! *US Giveaway*

 

Since we moved into our house 4 years ago, I have been purchasing bottled water. Our tap water tastes horrible and I barely like cooking with it. We buy the large 2.5 gallon water jugs as to try to reduce as much plastic as we can, but I know it's not enough. We have tried so many different water filters and filtered pitchers and pretty much anything to try to clean our water from impurities and nasty taste but nothing works. When I first received my ZeroWater pitcher, I followed all the directions. I was determined to find a filtered water pitcher that worked to save us money and reduce the amount of plastic we used. The package includes the Pitcher, filter cartridge, and  TDS meter. The pitcher is unique to any other ones I tried because it not only has the pour spout, but also has a push button dispenser so you don't have to take the pitcher out of the fridge. This is a nice feature when you have children and usually only one hand is available! The filter cartridge contains Ion Exchange Filters that take ions that you may not want in the water, or may make the water taste bad are collected and exchanged with water ions, like hydrogen. It is the only filtered water that meets the FDA definition of purified bottled water! How cool is that! 

The TDS meter was the most fun part of the whole system. You are probably wondering what a TDS meter even is. Well, the TDS meter detects the amount of solids in water and puts a number on them. The higher the reading is, the more things dissolved in water. Ideally you want the water you are ingesting to be 000. Here is where my testing came in! I tested tap water, bottled water, and tap water filtered through the ZeroWater pitcher. You are going to be amazed by my findings! My tap water number was 239, bottled water was 019, and tap water filtered through my ZeroWater filter was 000! It was definitely an amazing difference! You can also use your TDS meter to monitor you ZeroWater. When it reads 006, it’s time to replace your Zero Water filter! That simple!

I was really impressed with the difference in my tap water. It was seriously undrinkable before being filtered by the ZeroWater filter. After being filtered, it wasn't perfect, but it was close. I think our water is so yucky that it is hard to completely take the odd flavor away. If I am drinking straight water I still turn to bottled water, but if I am cooking or making tea of something like that, I can actually use my filtered water! Before I couldn't use the tap water for anything. I strictly turned to bottled water. The amount of money we have saved is outstanding. You figure cooking alone takes a lot of water. I am also always making homemade tea and we go through lots of that. 

I would recommend the ZeroWater pitcher to everyone! You will definitely be surprised in the difference! It also helps that the water filtered through the ZeroWater filter is safer to drink.
