Need Some Help From All You Online Store Owners! :)
Okay...so the economy sucks and Kyle had to take a huge pay cut to get on the job he's on now because it was the only one available right now (he does contract work). Well, we aren't used to living on SO much less money. It was a HUGE cut! So I figured I might as well put my crafting talents to work and possibly open my own shop. I'm not sure if I should go towards Etsy, or my own website, or maybe just another blog. I'm open to suggestions! :) What's easiest, least expensive, most traffic...pretty much whatever I need to know! :) Thanks!

There are some great blogs out there by moms who are making money by blogging. This is a good one: Simply Stacie (http://simplystacie.net). She did a post last week about making money with your blog. I have an Etsy store, but I just opened mine in June. It's very slow business and there are sooooo many other vendors there that I'm seeking other alternatives too. We're in the same boat as you guys, only in the reverse. I'm a teacher, and my latest paycut due to the state budget cuts puts me to a paycheck level that I earned 10 years ago. It's killing us, too!

We've lost almost half of our income and it has casued some major strain. I've been wondering about crafting for money too. It sort of sounds dirty when you say it that way :)
