Review & Giveaway: Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant

Ever since I had Riley my hormones have been messed up and it just continued since I got pregnant with Emma 9 months after having Riley. Before having them I only wore deodorant for the nice smell, but never to cover anything up since I never had an odor problem. Well, I guess with my hormones out of whack, I have had some issues, so to say! LOL So, I have had to look around for different deodorants to make sure I am always smelling nice and staying dry! We all know how embarrassing stinky wet pits can be! :-P I recently was sent Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant to put to the test! 

The Product: New Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant (for men & women): Certain Dri is the number one over-the-counter antiperspirant recommended by doctors for treating excessive perspiration. New to the Certain Dri line of antiperspirant products is Certain Dri Solid, equally effective and specially-formulated for those with sensitive skin. While other over-the-counter antiperspirants claim to be “clinical strength” and “waterproof” the Certain Dri formulations – 12% aluminum chloride and 25% aluminum sesquichlorohydrate -  are the strongest available, providing 72-hours of protection with each application. Retail price is $5.50-$6, almost 40% less than the other clinical strength antiperspirant products.

Mommy Thinks: I have only come across one deodorant that has worked for the whole day without reapplication, so I wasn't expecting much from Certain Dri. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked! It didn't stand up to the 72hours, as I did notice that I needed to reapply more towards the end of the night, but with that being said, it did hold up through out the day which was nice. I'm still not sure if I like the scent. It is a mix between a men and women deodorant smell which I would imagine it is supposed to be since it is for men and woman. I tend to lean more towards flowery and powder scents. It did keep me dry though which I loved! I think I will be sticking to my regular deodorant but this is a nice alternative for someone looking to try something new!
